Abstract sculpture titled "Sad Thought" in wood signed Robert Delcourt (monogrammed DR), circa 1960, characterised by an elongated and organic shape. The fluid curves and carved recesses create a play of volumes and light that model a face. This piece, with its modernist aesthetic, is an elegant sculptural work with a strong decorative presence.
