African Fang reliquary head

Ancient African reliquary head from the Fang tribe. Originating from Gabon, this solid wood head features clean and feminine lines. The eyes are made of small brass beads. A sculpture carved from solid material, very elegant. It can be displayed as is, or a metal base could be made. In good overall condition, with signs of wear related to age. - Dimensions: 16 X 16 X H 38 cm. Neck diameter approximately 7 cm.
