Rare bedside table in Louis XVI style, with a particularly balanced design and remarkable quality of execution. This model perfectly combines neoclassical elegance with refined marquetry work. ■ The body is entirely veneered, decorated on all sides with diamond-shaped rosewood marquetry, finely framed with fillets, offering a subtle grain pattern and beautiful depth. ■ The front features a belt drawer above a door, all perfectly proportioned. ■ The top is made of veined white marble, carefully fitted with softened corners, adding a precious touch and great practicality for use. ■ The uprights are adorned with gilt bronze falls with a floral decoration, typical of the Louis XVI repertoire, highlighting the verticality of the piece. The handles (pull knob and ring) are also in bronze, harmonising with the whole. The piece rests on four tapered and turned legs, giving lightness and elegance to the silhouette.
