Louis XVI style wooden bedside table.

This very well-made bedside table (most likely maison gouffé according to the former owner), is solid wood for the legs and veneer for the body. The veneer is impeccably done, playing on the grain of the wood to create original geometric patterns. The edges are finely chamfered and decorated with ribbon knots, and the marble is a deep red veined with white.
