Magnificent pair of glazed ceramic mugs by the famous ceramists Jean and Robert Cloutier. Signature: "Cloutier" engraved under the base of each piece. Colour: Stunning bright red glaze with a beautiful depth effect and artisanal crackling. Design: Typical Cloutier handles with an insert [in wood/bamboo - to be confirmed according to the material of the handle]. Condition: Generally in lovely vintage condition. Note some small usage chips at the base and on one rim (see detailed photos), which is common for these artisanal ceramics. Style: French design, Vallauris, 60s/70s.
