Rörstrand 'Atlantis' teapot by Rolf Sinnemark – Memphis style, 1984

This rare porcelain teapot from the 'Atlantis' series was designed around 1984 by Rolf Sinnemark and produced by Rörstrand in Stockholm. The geometric decoration in black, grey and white and the bold, crystal-like form are typical of the postmodern Memphis style of the 1980s. The teapot is marked 'RÖRSTRAND' with three crowns and 'ROLF SINNEMARK 413'. Never used and from a private collection – a true collector’s item for lovers of Scandinavian and postmodern design.
