Pair of Victorian Jacobean Gothic Revival bookcases

We are delighted to offer this magnificent pair of hand-carved library bookshelves from around 1860-1880, made of continental oak in the Jacobethan / Gothic revival style, most likely of Dutch origin. Very decorative, rare to find as a pair with their original glass panels. In good condition, cleaned, waxed, and polished, with some age-related patina marks. Total dimensions: height 263.5 cm, width 95 cm (top), depth 52.5 cm (base). Two small losses to the wood on the second bookshelf. Repair possible upon request.
