Old gaudin lamp in nîmes electrified good condition s849

Here is an old quinquet lamp in brass, adjustable in height. Plaque with inscription "gaz - astral - gaudin - nîsmes the base is in brass well weighted with tin. Electrified: electric wire and new switch, (a bulb will be added). Period: towards the end of the 19th century. In photos 1 & 2 the electric wire is fixed to the column with small brass wire. Condition: set in good condition, cleaned and an antioxidant applied, a small shock on the edge of the base (photo 10), traces of age, as in the photos. Dimensions: height: 48 cm, length: 25 cm, width: 14 cm. Weight: 1.500 kg, careful packaging: approximately 2.5 kg.
