Vintage Model 646 Dining Chairs by Gio Ponti for Cassina, 1950s, Set of 6

A wonderful set of 6 original, early Gio Ponti Leggera Model 646 dining chairs, produced by Cassina in Italy during the 1950s. The chairs have been restored with new upholstery, featuring dark red wood and bouclé fabric. Each chair is marked with the original maker’s label, 'Figli di Amedeo Cassina, ' under the seat. This set is in very good vintage condition, showing no defects but slight traces of use as expected from a piece of its age. These chairs are a testament to mid-century design by the renowned Gio Ponti.
