Pair of BM1 dining chairs by Børge Mogensen in oak for CM Madsen, Denmark, 1950s. The BM1 chair is one of Børge Mogensen's first forays into functional and democratic furniture. Created for CM Madsen, this pair of chairs illustrates Mogensen's commitment to traditional craftsmanship and his admiration for Shaker design, which greatly influenced his early work. The curved backrest provides excellent support and optimal comfort, true to Mogensen's functional principles. Over time, the oak has developed a rich and warm patina, enhancing the natural beauty of the wood. The seat height is 45 cm.
