Pair of 1950s Scandinavian chairs, Gracell, by Yngve Ekstrom.

A lovely pair of Gracell chairs, designed by Yngve Ekstrom, in elm and black skai, from the late 1950s. They are in good overall condition (see photos) and have a rare elegance. Yngve Ekström (1913-1988) was a furniture designer, wood sculptor, and Swedish architect, an important figure in the evolution of the Scandinavian modernism movement.
