Modern mid-century writing desk signed Cartier in bronze and leather.

We are delighted to offer for sale this original, very rare, highly collectible writing desk in Mid Century Modern style from the 1960s-1970s, signed Cartier Paris, made of solid bronze with a deep chocolate brown leather writing surface. This desk, the largest in the range, features a large rear drawer containing original Cartier books, and the front facade is signed Cartier. The bronze has a beautiful aged patina, and the leather has a similar appearance, both having been cleaned, waxed, and polished. The dimensions are 76 cm in height, 120 cm in width, and 67 cm in depth. The desk is very heavy and works in any type of interior, adding a couture and special touch. Vintage items like this naturally show signs of wear and an aged patina, particularly on the leather. The leather has been hand-dyed, and it is recommended not to expose it directly to prolonged sunlight to avoid drying or discolouration.
