Art Deco Secretary Bar

Art Deco Bar Secretary, in the style of Jules Leleu, France circa 1940. A bar cabinet veneered with beautiful veined walnut, the lower central part of the cabinet featuring wood and mother-of-pearl inlays, classic of the Leleu style - the sides are curved. A sliding mirrored top for placing glasses and bottles. The upper doors, covered in gold leaf, open to reveal a fully mirrored bar. The gold leaf shows signs of wear. The piece is very heavy.
