Savoy vase created by alvar and aino aalto for the savoy restaurant in helsinki. The aalto vase was awarded in 1936 as part of a design competition for the glassmaker iittala, which still produces it today. Electric blue. Two small splinters on the ledge. Signed on the underside and still has some of its "made in finland" label. Good general condition. Height: 15.5 cm. Max dimensions: 20.5 X 15 cm.
