Halluin tapestry, important medieval scene, 20th century certificate

Halluin Point: an important tapestry, wall hanging, depicting a medieval scene, with the grape harvest as its subject (n°3891): scenes of harvesting and working in the vineyard after a 15th century tapestry in the Cluny Museum. Traditional weaving using wool and cotton, very fine stitch and detail. Doubled tapestry with certificate on the reverse. Manufacture des Flandres in Halluin, France, made by 3 Gold medalists for the best craftsman in France (new price displayed on the site €2000) 10 hanging tabs on the back for fixing (sold without the bar) Period: 20th century.
