Large wall tapestry "Galant Feast" - Medieval Style / Jean Laurent (1)

Magnificent wall tapestry in the late Middle Ages/Renaissance style, titled "Fête galante" and inspired by pieces held at the Musée de Cluny. Manufacture: Made of pure wool in Tournai stitch on a Jacquard loom by master weaver Jean Laurent (Ateliers Tapisseries d'Art in Montrichard). Details: Art edition from 1986. The colours on the front are deep and perfectly preserved. Dimensions: 130 X 185 cm. Condition: Very good overall condition for the visible side. Note: some slight halos and signs of age are present on the backing fabric (completely invisible once hung). Sold with its original signed certificate of authenticity.
