Tea cabinet (chadansu) in veneer wood on the façade (walnut magnifying glass, warm veined color. The studs and tray in (keyaki?) solid, light shade. Fully pegged. An undulating shelf (poetic allusion to the steam of the teapot) on the left - background decorated with tin paper. A recessed compartment under a shelf lined with tin paper. Two large sliding glass doors. In the upper part shelf with two doors lined with sliding fabric. In the lower part four drawers, surmounted on the left by a compartment with sliding panels, and locker with gate on the right. The whole, sober, mixes elegance and geometric combinations art deco. Around 1920-30 - taisho period or early showa. Centenary, this piece of furniture therefore has wear, shocks - small scratches - the rails of the slides lined with fabric are lightly veiled on the left. Two corners of the large glass doors have been glued back together. The button of the small door at the bottom right is modern, the door squeaks, the veneer stands out along the hinge (see arrow photo) Side studs: dripping on the left - a few grated dots on the right - discolorations, scratches.
