We are pleased to present a piece of timeless elegance. This compact display cabinet (sideboard) is a beautiful example of the transition between late Art Deco and Streamline Moderne, originating from Poland (Central Europe) around the late 1930s or early 1940s. **Design & Material** The cabinet is characterised by its solid form softened by rounded edges and massive, curved pilasters – key features of the Streamline style. The main protagonist here is the European Walnut veneer. The lower doors feature a striking, highly decorative book-matched grain pattern. The wood has a deep, warm tone that brings character to any interior. **Restoration & Finish** This piece has undergone a comprehensive, professional restoration in our workshop (SkarbyPRLu). We stripped the old varnish and finished the surface with high-quality hard wax oil. This finish enhances the 3D effect of the wood grain, offers a beautiful satin look, and provides a natural, velvety touch (unlike high-gloss synthetic varnishes). The interior is clean and refreshed. **Functionality** Perfect for modern apartments due to its compact size. Upper section: A display case with sliding glass doors and a glass shelf, ideal for books, glassware, or ceramics. Lower section: A spacious cupboard with a sturdy wooden shelf, lockable with a key. **Condition: ** Restored / Excellent vintage condition. **Materials: ** Walnut Veneer, Solid Wood structure, Glass. **Style: ** Art Deco, Streamline Moderne, Mid-Century. **Origin: ** Poland. **Dimensions: ** lower section: Width 119, Depth 44, Height 63, upper section: Width 92, Depth 32, Height 94.
