6 mini HB Quimper cups, bright green

A charming set of six mini Quimper earthenware cups from the HB (Henriot) pottery, recognizable by its handwritten signature on the base. These miniature cups, with their delicate and playful size, captivate with their vibrant green glaze, enlivened by a graphic design featuring rhythmic black friezes, contrasting dots, and ochre lines. Each piece is individually thrown and glazed, revealing subtle variations in material, texture, and glaze density, which attest to expressive craftsmanship. The rounded handles, the intentionally irregular rim, and the glaze's sheen give them a cheerful and bold character, perfect for a decorative display, a shop window, or a stylish coffee corner. The base bears the signature "HB Quimper," a key reference in 20th-century Breton earthenware. In good vintage condition, one cup has a visible chip on the rim (see photos), which is taken into account in the price. The other five are intact, with only minor signs of age and original irregularities from the enameling process.
