A rare and charming trio of coffee or tea cups with matching saucers, from the Ti-Bihan workshop in Saint-Malo, signed by the potter Yvon Roy. These pieces likely date from the 1960s–1970s and embody a discreet but refined Breton craftsmanship. Made of glazed earthenware with a glossy glaze, they feature a magnificent hand-painted geometric decoration in a range of blues, mixing deep indigo, azure blue and slate gray-blue. The slightly speckled ivory background adds to the natural charm of these unique pieces. The decoration is applied underglaze, a technique that protects the colors under the glaze and gives a great visual softness. Beautiful vintage condition, no cracks or chips, glaze intact. Original surface cracking on the interior glaze (typical of this type of earthenware). Cup diameter 10 cm, cup height 6.5 cm Saucer diameter 15 cm. Perfect for a chic seaside table, a bohemian kitchen, or a contemporary interior in search of authenticity. A beautiful Breton collector's item, rare on the market.
