Lot of 5 vintage MBFA Pornic glazed stoneware cups - 1960s/70s
Charming set of 5 antique cups signed MBFA Pornic (Breton Manufacture of Artistic Faïences), in glazed stoneware with hand-painted floral decoration. Very beautiful French artisanal work with a typical decor of vintage Breton productions from the 1960s-1970s: speckled cream background, chocolate brown rim, and stylised floral patterns in blue, yellow, and terracotta. The stamp under the cups confirms the origin MBFA Pornic, a manufacturer recognised for its decorative faïences and stoneware produced in Brittany since the post-war period. Very good overall vintage condition, no cracks or chips. Dimensions: Diameter 10.5 X H. 6.5 cm. Capacity: 200 ml.
