Vintage red and gold Chinese cabinet / Asian bridal cabinet
DESCRIPTION: A unique oriental cabinet. These pieces of furniture are from the 1970s, a period when Chinoiserie experienced a revival. This style originated in the mid-18th century, when entire castles were filled with Chinese and oriental furniture and objects. During the 1970s, such furniture was made and no two are the same. All elements are applied by hand, always giving it an artistic touch. You can clearly see the hand-painted lines. It is painted on all sides, even inside and on the top. Traditionally dressed ladies in a Chinese garden adorn the front and sides. The cabinet has a large upper compartment with doors that can open inward (this used to house the TV). Below are two compartments that can be opened with a flap. In short, a beautiful cabinet for an Asian or Bohemian interior.
