Art Deco vase from the 1930s, made by the Czech Moser manufactory in Karlovy Vary, formed from clear, faceted crystal. Deep, geometric cuts emphasize the symmetry and architectural purity of the form, while the highly polished surface reflects light, creating a striking play of reflections. The etched matte motif depicts a forest scene with a deer, flying birds, and stylized trees, balancing the shiny silhouette of the vessel with graphic depth. The heavy, octagonal base is strongly beveled, providing not only stability but also a sense of sculptural massiveness typical of the Art Deco era. Clearly defined edges and sharp transitions of the cuts testify to precise craftsmanship. The item is unsigned, according to the manufacturer's information. Condition is very good – no chips, cracks, or significant signs of use. The crystal of this vase speaks with the geometric elegance of the 1930s: sharply cut planes and a forest relief tell of an era that valued the balance of decor and construction. This is an object that has retained the atmosphere of modern luxury from the interwar period; the cuts shine like light in a ballroom, and the frosty landscape on the matte surface evokes the silence of old parks. The graphic expression emphasizes the pursuit of synthesis between nature and art characteristic of Art Deco, and the whole seems to invite you to discover the play of light and shadow so close to those times. You can display this vase solo on a noble wood console or on a modernism-inspired table to highlight its architectural character. It also works well in combination with smaller, geometric glassware or among graphics and ceramics in the style of the 1920s and 1930s, which will complete the collector's narrative. Classic, eclectic, or modernist reinterpretation interiors will allow the dynamic cuts and matte relief to stand out, and placing it next to a lamp with soft light will bring out the play of refractions and varied textures.
