Decorative plate Longwy 3521 – hand-painted deer design

Beautiful vintage decorative plate from the Longwy factory, made of glossy black enamelled earthenware. The decoration is entirely hand-painted, depicting deer in a forest landscape by the water, with birches, vegetation, and a background landscape. The polychrome glazes and golden details stand out particularly well against the black background. On the back, it is stamped Longwy – Hand Decorated – Unfading Colours – Grand Feu – Made in France, along with the reference 3521. Free-form triangular shape with rounded corners, characteristic of Longwy's decorative productions from the mid-20th century. A beautiful vintage piece to display on a piece of furniture or on the wall, ideal for a collection of French earthenware. Condition: generally good vintage condition, see photographs for any signs of wear.
