This lovely stemmed glass is made of bubble glass in a beautiful green colour. It is a vintage chalice or Roemer from the 1960s, typical of the production of German glassmaker Alfred TAUBE. Contemporary with Wagenfeld and Jachmann, the glassmaker Taube created very beautiful enamelled pieces in his Bavarian factory in Vohenstrauß between 1950 and 1990. It is mouth-blown using a traditional technique: at the base, you can see the mark of the break from the blowing cane. The polychrome decoration is finely enamelled. This glass is adorned with friezes of flowers and a lively hunting scene featuring characters and animals: men accompanied by their dogs hunting game. In very good condition, this glass measures 17 cm in height and 8.3 cm in diameter. There is no visible signature.
