Circular coffee table designed by Arne Jacobsen and produced by Fritz Hansen, circa 1970. The round top in white laminate features a slightly softened edge and rests on a central base made of cast aluminium with four branches. This so-called "star" base is characteristic of Arne Jacobsen's creations, particularly developed for his sets of tables and seating in the 1960s. The ensemble offers a light and balanced silhouette, with great stability and a formal clarity typical of modernist Danish design. Denmark, circa 1970.
