Forced to flee to Sweden during World War II due to his Jewish heritage, he was appointed a professor there in 1964. During this time, Jacobsen intensified his work as a designer. He created classics such as "The Ant, " "The Egg, " "The Swan, " "Grand Prix, " and "Series 7, " true icons of modernism.
