Baumann Model 92 Vintage Stool, 1950s

Vintage mid-century stool "Model #92" by Baumann, France, 1950s. The piece is made of beech, featuring a beautiful bent wood design (see photos). The piece is overall in good condition, original and vintage, with some marks, signs of age, a few areas of discoloured colour and previous use proportional to the time, as well as a patina of age, across the entire structure and seat (see photos). There is an old mark of use on one side of the stool, on the bent wood under the seat (see photo), as well as an old mark of use on one side of the edge of the seat (see photo). Note: The finish of the seat has been restored. The old varnish has been removed, then finished with oil and beeswax (see photos). The piece is solid and stable. It has only been gently cleaned, oiled, and waxed in respect of its original patina of age. A manufacturer's stamp is present (see photo).
