Low tripod stool made of solid wood attributed to Henri Bataille, a French designer active in the 1960s and 1970s, known for his organic and brutalist wooden creations. The thick seat features a slightly irregular freeform shape, highlighting the natural grains and knots of the wood. The surface is patinated in a warm brown tone that emphasises the raw and artisanal character of the piece. The three slightly angled legs are directly inserted into the seat, following a simple and robust construction typical of this type of furniture. The piece shows slight signs of use and some natural marks on the edge of the seat, without compromising the stool's strength or stability. Dimensions: height approximately 35 cm; seat approximately 27 × 29 cm. This piece can serve as an occasional stool, small seat, footrest, or decorative support.
