Made of moulded plastic in a deep burgundy hue, the piece is distinguished by its fully ribbed structure and removable upper ashtray, punctuated by a grid of semi-spheres. The opening at the front allows it to be used as a wastebasket. A functional object with a particularly graphic design, emblematic of Sottsass's approach for Olivetti in the 1970s.
