Condition: good state of preservation. Dimensions: height 47 cm, width 16 cm, depth 16 cm. Pair of French five-armed table candelabras, with a marked classical influence, in the Napoleon III style. They consist of a column-shaped shaft and a quadrangular base made of veined marble in violet tones, enriched with bronze ornaments at the base, the capital, and the intermediate junctions. The marble base rests on claw feet in bronze and features a central bronze appliqué in the shape of a rosette. The arms display elegant vegetal scrolls inspired by the Baroque, ending in bobeches and drip pans, all finely engraved. By their characteristics, we place this pair of candelabras in the second half of the 19th century, a period when this type of piece enjoyed great popularity in both France and Italy. Ideal as decorative objects and for ambient lighting.
