Superb and imposing pair of antique candelabras in the Napoleon III style, dating from the second half of the 19th century. With a height of 53 cm and a weight of about 4 kg each (nearly 8 kg for the pair), they offer a remarkable presence and will serve as a centerpiece in classic, bourgeois, or château-style decor. The columns are made of beautiful griotte red marble, featuring very decorative natural veining. The mounts, arms, and ornaments are made of high-quality gilded metal (probably bronze or period alloy), richly decorated with acanthus leaves, garlands, beaded friezes, and elegant twisted branches. Each candelabrum has 5 lights, providing a balanced and particularly elegant silhouette. Dimensions: Height: 53 cm. Weight: approximately 4 kg per candelabrum. Total weight: just over 8 kg. Condition: The overall condition is very good for objects dating from the 19th century. The marble is very well preserved, with beautiful colors. The old gilding has remained in its original state, with an authentic patina that perfectly highlights the reliefs. For transparency: One candelabrum is perfectly straight and stable; the second has some play at the central stem, which will likely require tightening from underneath. This same candelabrum leans slightly due to this loosening; one or two branches show slight deformation.
