An old inkwell, feather holder and seal with polychrome decoration and chiseled brass, napoleon III style. In paris porcelain, signed clain france (red mark on the reverse) Period: late nineteenth. Height 11 cm. Good condition. Clain & perrier (1879-1914): the two decorative artists owned a workshop store at 238 boulevard st germain and rue du bac in paris. They mainly obtained glasses and crystals from the muller brothers in lunéville in order to be able to decorate and market the pieces. Clain was in charge of the decoration on the porcelain and perrier the glassware part.
