Art Deco bonbonnière in faience and Longwy enamels.

Superb and rare sweet jar, made of glazed and crackled earthenware, in the Art Deco style and period, from the famous French manufacturer, the Longwy pottery. Octagonal model with a crackled cream background, enhanced with red/raspberry lines and a frieze. Decorated with stylised geometric floral patterns typical of the Art Deco period, featuring white flowers with yellow centres. Circa 1930. Underneath, a simple coat of arms with holly topped with a crown, LONGWY FRANCE and an inscription: "14". Dimensions: Height: 12 cm. Diameter of the lid: 10 cm. Diameter of the base: 9 cm. The sweet jar is in very good condition and will be delivered in appropriate packaging.
