I am offering for sale a pair of large "mirror" lamps in glossy red and green glazed ceramic in a postmodern style. These are two "mirror" lamps with inverted colour palettes (chromatic negative), emblematic of the Memphis movement, Kosta style (1980s). Large pieces, ideal for structuring space on either side of a large sideboard, on architect's bedside tables, or on a living room console. Lamp dimensions: Total height: 50 cm, Shade diameter: 40 cm, Pot diameter: 25 cm. Model description. • Design & Volumes: Sculptural silhouette in the shape of an ovoid vase, topped with a collar in the form of a flattened disc (or "doughnut") in a contrasting hue. The geometric lines and quality of the glazes recall the high-end creations of the Kostka house or Vallauris. • The chromatic duo: o Lamp 1: Salmon pink/burgundy base and jade green collar. O Lamp 2: Deep emerald green base and salmon pink collar. • Original shades: Both pieces are topped with their large cylindrical shades (original drum shape) in coordinated salmon pink fabric, in superb condition. • Condition: Excellent overall aesthetic condition. The glaze of the ceramic is impeccable, shiny, and without chips. Original electrical systems are fully functional, equipped with gold cords.
