Vintage red Chinese teapot decorated with dragons and symbols.

Chinese porcelain teapot glazed in an intense red, decorated with stylised dragons, flowers, and lucky motifs in jade green, yellow, and powder pink tones. It has a round, low silhouette, combined with its very graphic decoration featuring the codes of traditional Asian table arts. The decoration blends imperial dragons, friezes of stylised hearts, and medallions inspired by ancient Chinese symbols. The bright red colour contrasts elegantly with the white reserves of the neck and spout. Produced in China in the second half of the 20th century, stamped "Made in China". It features glazed porcelain with a printed decoration typical of Chinese decorative exports from the 1970s-1980s. In beautiful vintage condition, with some discreet signs of age and very slight irregularities in the glaze visible in places, especially on the base, a lack of glaze above the handle, and a tiny lack of glaze on the handle and spout (see photos). Length from spout to handle 21 cm, widest diameter 14 cm, height with lid 9.5 cm. Estimated capacity 75 cl. A sculptural and luminous teapot with reinterpreted Asian influences.
