Discover the raw charm of an authentic vintage KW Feuerfest teapot, made in Germany in the 1960s or 70s. A superb example of utilitarian stoneware, typical of these workshops specializing in "feuerfest" pieces – heat-resistant and designed to last a lifetime. The body features a beautiful embossed scale pattern, an iconic motif of mid-century German stoneware. The warm, velvety honey-brown glaze perfectly captures the functional retro style for which KW manufactures are renowned. The slightly darker lid adds a lovely depth of tone. Original marking under the base: model number G962. In good vintage condition, with a flaw in the lid (a cut without glaze on the rim) and some signs of wear on the body (see photos). Height 8.5 cm (without lid), height 11 cm with lid, width 18 cm from handle to spout, diameter 11 cm (excluding handle and spout) Perfect for a trendy mid-century craft touch.
