Dagobert curule armchair with chimera heads 19th century

Between its imposing size and its four very beautiful finely sculpted stylized chimera heads which have a lovely patina (we can see that the front heads have often been caressed!), this armchair will not go unnoticed. Unlike some curules whose seat is made of wood, this one is rather comfortable with its upholstered seat, which may have been added later (we can see marks and a few nails on the armrests and the backrest crosspiece which may have been used initially to stretch a simpler fabric seat?). The curule, which is inspired by antique seats, is part of the new furniture of the Directoire period at the beginning of 1800. I will therefore date this piece of furniture to the 19th century. It is in good structural condition, solid, stable but does not hide its age. The seat fabric, still solid, is very faded (I do not know if it covers the original fabric or if it replaced it). The seat itself is still very solid, under the jaconas, you can feel the springs stretched by strings, and on the upper side the fairly thick padding does the job. But I haven't removed the wallpaper so I can't say anything about the real condition inside. The structure has undergone some repairs, you can see traces of more recent glue. A fairly recent chip on the carved wood on the front leg, I just put a little walnut stain to camouflage it a little. Another small piece of wood missing under the or of a tiger (not visible therefore). An area marked with scratches and abrasions relatively large but hidden by the seat. And obviously a few other small marks that testify to the age of this chair. A restoration of this chair by a professional would be ideal. I cleaned it carefully, trying not to forget any corners, but there is still dust between the teeth of the chimeras. It measures 76 cm max height, 89 cm max width, 53 cm max depth. The seat is approximately 50 cm high.
