Rare service Vallauris Marius Bessone 1960

Sublime service in glazed terracotta made by the renowned workshop of Marius Bessone in Vallauris. This lot includes 6 round plates and one rectangular dish, hand-decorated with vibrant, raised, and colourful patterns representing vegetables and shellfish in a typically Provençal spirit. Each piece wonderfully illustrates the artisanal know-how and elegance of the Vallauris style. This artisanal service from the 1960s is in excellent condition; however, there is a small chip on the back of the rectangular dish, which does not affect its use or aesthetics.
