Antique sideboard with hand-painted floral motif

A lovely sideboard with practical dimensions, its compact size making it a perfect fit for any room in your home. I chose a botanical motif, inspired by ink drawings, to bring a creative and contemporary touch. The designs are hand-painted and varnished. Made of varnished plywood. Two hinged doors (not lockable). Top and interior painted with an anthracite gray patina. Brass handles. Solid wood splayed legs. Signs of age are present! Handmade paint. I made my own casein paint (lime, casein, water, natural pigments). This paint offers a unique and vibrant finish that I love! No chemicals. Homemade casein paint is 100% natural and allows the surface to breathe. This wood decoration is an alternative to wallpaper. Varnish composition: vegetable oil emulsion, natural preservative, water. Paint composition: lime, casein, water, Roman Black Earth (pigment). This paint is sensitive to humidity, so avoid placing the furniture in a bathroom or outdoors. Please note: all furniture bears small marks of age. Despite all care taken, minor defects and imperfections are inherent to the use or handcrafted restoration of furniture.
