An impressive Dutch oak bureau bookcase dating from the 18th century, featuring an elegant shaped pediment with carved crest above a glazed display cabinet. The upper section is fitted with glass doors and shelves, making it ideal for displaying books, porcelain, or collectibles. The lower section consists of a fall-front bureau with a fitted interior containing small drawers and compartments, above three graduated drawers and two side cupboards. The cabinet stands on carved claw feet and retains its original brass handles and hardware.
