Sheraton Revival Antique Library Desk circa 1840

We are delighted to offer for sale this magnificent handmade desk bookcase from England, Sheraton Revival style, circa 1840. This bookcase is a true masterpiece of style and design, featuring beautiful Sheraton marquetry, a top section with astral glass, a desk section with a solid mahogany top that can easily accommodate a laptop and mouse when open, all resting on a chest of drawers. In excellent condition for its age, the wood has been thoroughly cleaned, waxed, and hand-polished, the glass cleaned, with only a few patinated marks. Dimensions: Height 226 cm, Width 117 cm, Depth 58 cm (75 cm with the desk open), Height under desk 69.5 cm. All measurements are taken at the widest point.
