Antique mahogany and leather trumeau, United Kingdom, 19th century

Mahogany trumeau. Upper part with a bevelled glass door and moulded cornice, three height-adjustable shelves inside. Central drop-down section supported by sliding drawers, leather insert on the interior shelf, seven open compartments for letters and six small drawers with forged bronze knobs. Lower part with four drawers, bronze handles and recessed lock entries, console feet. England, mid-19th century.
