Louis XV wardrobe in solid walnut, 18th century. Charming regional wardrobe in Louis XV style, made of solid walnut, opening with two moulded and richly panelled doors. The doors feature beautiful shaped panels, enhanced by superb veneers with warm and varied grains, offering a particularly elegant natural decor. The upper rail is finely moulded, topped with an overhanging cornice with simple and balanced lines. The sides are slightly curved, typical of the provincial Louis XV style, resting on cabriole legs finished with a cut-out base. The antique wrought iron fittings (lock entries and pins) add to the authentic character of the piece. The patina, in a beautiful golden honey tone, highlights the wood's grain and attests to its age. Interior adaptable (wardrobe or shelves depending on use). Period: 18th century.
