Genuine Anjou bassette in oak dating from the mid-19th century, fully restored and patinated with a matte varnish to preserve the natural appearance of the oak. The interior has been fitted with a wardrobe section and shelves. These cabinets, now quite rare, were given to newlyweds in the mid-19th century, typical of the Anjou region.
