Authentic antique cast iron fireplace plaque from the Directoire / Empire period, dating from around 1795–1820. Very beautiful neoclassical decor including: – laurel crown symbolising victory. – handshake symbolising unity and brotherhood. – antique columns and floral medallions. – finely moulded model with beautiful reliefs. – old initials "LL" visible at the bottom.
