I am selling this beautiful antique fireplace screen, dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, made of carved wood, adorned with an embroidered canvas featuring a pastoral scene in a central medallion. The structure has an elegant carved decoration (columns, pediment with a crown, classical ornaments) characteristic of the Louis XVI / Transition style. The embroidered canvas, richly decorated with floral motifs, ribbons, and foliage, is done with a needle on fabric, with a lovely old patina.
