Antique fireplace screen in tapestry and mahogany

Superb and rare fireplace screen or antique tapestry firewall. A fireplace screen all mahogany with tapestry screen, nineteenth century. Tapestry decorated with a peacock and embroidered flowers. Adjustable height and width, it adjusts as needed with its 2 sliding panels on the sides and a central panel that slides from bottom to top (note that there must have been a handle on the central panel that disappeared over time). It rests on legs fixed on original brass casters. Delivered waxed ready for home, the tapestry of the back panel that had holes in it was replaced with a pretty beige fabric. In excellent condition, however, there are some traces of discoloration of the fabric (mainly on the fabric of the green central panel) Luckily, the embroidery whose work is remarkable is intact and without accident to report.
