The plate showcases a striking red-ground palette with intricate brushwork and ornamental symmetry, reflecting the craftsmanship of mid-20th-century Dutch art pottery. The reverse is marked with 'Regina, ' 'Delft, ' 'Made in Holland, ' and includes the factory monogram 'WB, ' referring to Van der Want & Barras, the owners of Kunstaardewerkfabriek Regina in Gouda.
