Superb George III period chest of drawers (late 18th / early 19th century) in Hepplewhite style, made of flame mahogany veneer. This piece of English cabinetry is a model of neoclassical elegance, combining finesse and robustness. Noble materials: Front and top in flame mahogany with deep grain. The interior of the drawers is made of solid oak, a sign of high quality. Handcrafted: Drawers assembled with hand-cut dovetails, fine and precise, ensuring its period origin. Elegant silhouette: It rests on its four flared feet known as "French feet," highlighted by a delicately shaped apron. Condition: The back is made of its original wide boards. The brass hardware (drop handles) is perfectly in style. State: Good overall condition with a magnificent original patina. There are signs of use and scratches on the top (see photos), witnesses to its 200 years of history. The drawers slide perfectly. Dimensions: Width: 83 cm. Height: 93 cm. Depth: 50 cm. A timeless piece, ideal for adding a touch of "British chic" and authenticity to a modern or classic interior.
